Growing
up in coastal Massachusetts, ever conscious of the ocean spray,
salt air, green grass and gray blue skies, beauty and natural
living have long been synonymous for Rebecca Pimentel. It is
no wonder that her line of products epitomize nature’s
luxuries.
While studying health sciences at Northeastern University, Pimentel
freelanced as a makeup artist, and soon after graduation opened
her tiny Beacon Hill boutique, The Beauty Mark. With a franchise
in Marblehead and a day spa in Nantucket, Pimentel garnered
quite a bit of local and national press, including such style
bibles as In Style, Lucky and Allure.
In co-designing an eco-friendly product line comprised primarily
of naturally fresh and organic ingredients, Pimentel hopes her
products’ honest approach comes through to her customers.
“It’s important that we pay attention to what we
put on our bodies. I think when we do, it helps us feel better
about ourselves.”
As a cruelty-free brand, with recyclable packaging in Pimentel’s
signature fresh and clean aesthetic, the line will also be also
be part of the Leaping Bunny organization, as well as a member
of the Coalition for Safe Cosmetics. |
